Aidan Marston William
6 months old!
Aidan is now 6 months old! He's growing so fast that we can barely remember the tiny guy who joined us back in June. He's now 16 pounds, 11 ounces, over 26 inches long. "Long" seems like an odd way to describe him, though, as he desperately wants to be standing, and thus part of the world of people who are measured as "tall". He's becoming more engaged in his world every day. I can't catalog all of the changes of the last few months, but the best of them is his wonderful, contagious laugh. He especially loves to laugh at the dogs as they walk by. It's the greatest sound in the world. Also, he now loves to sit up and stand up against stuff. He can't stand up on his own yet, but he is happy to be propped up against things, like chairs and tables and the like.
Below are some pictures from the last few months. He just celebrated his first Christmas, so that's when we took most of the pictures.
He's very agile.
Another one of his accomplishments of the last few months has been eating real food (official terminology is "solid food", but as you can see from the mess, there's nothing solid about it...).
